Our mission is to mobilize community congregations that partner with social service agencies to end homelessness, one family at a time.

Did you know?

Did you know . . . . . In January 2017, the Houston County Board of Education identified 265 homeless children in Pre-K through 12th grade.  The national estimates of double that number (530) have been confirmed by our Family Promise experience the past four years.  Inquiries, self-reports of families who have been able to hide their homelessness, and our experience providing services to families have all shown that for every child in school there is at least one preschool age or otherwise uncounted.  There are many ways to meet the needs of these potential 530 children. Please join us as one agency eager to help families move from homelessness to self-sufficiency.

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development reported that " a lone parent with 2 children earning minimum wage would have to work 50 hours a week to escape poverty"…... a huge challenge for our guests
